This is the cover of my upcoming novel from Leisure Books, The Loveliest Dead, which will be released in January of 2006. The Loveliest Dead is a ghost story, and it’s my first original massmarket horror novel since 1997.

Along with the release of The Loveliest Dead, I have already scheduled three signings. The first will be on Saturday, January 7, at 4:00 p.m. at Borderland Books in San Francisco. Then, on January 21, I’ll be at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, California. The next day, January 22, I’ll be in Garden Grove, California, at Bad Moon Books. I don’t have times yet for those last two signings, but when I do, I’ll post them. If you’re in the area of any of these signings, or close enough to make the trip, I hope you’ll make plans to be there, because I’m eager to meet you.

I have a three-book deal with Leisure. The Loveliest Dead will be followed by a reissue of my novel Live Girls, which will be followed by the publication of its sequel, Night Life. I don’t have publication dates for those novels yet, but when I do, of course, I’ll post them here.
